He is doing so GOOD!!! He has had a very restful morning and is looking better all the time! He took the news of our dear father and sister very well. He just kept telling us how much he loved us. James is such an AMAZING guy! I love him so much!!!

On Thanksgiving Day 2010, our lives were changed forever! While traveling to Tabiona Utah for Thanksgiving, the Lewis family was involved a terrible auto accident. Stuart (father) and KaraLee (daughter -pictured on Right) passed instantly. Trudy (mother), James-Andrew (son) and Abigail (daughter) were injured and hospitalized. MayLynn (daughter -pictured graduating) was not traveling with them. This blog is dedicated them, who have touched the lives of more people than they could ever know!
Oh, thank goodness! This is great news.
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteMy husband, Paul, worked with Stuart at IMFT. We had you guys over a few times to play Rockband. :) I just wanted to tell you that your family has been in our thoughts constantly since Thursday; we pray for you and are so happy each time we read these miraculous updates. You are a beautiful family and we marvel at your strength! Please let us know if there is anything at all that we can do for you; my email address is jwebb045 at yahoo dot com - Jeanette Webb
Hello Lewis Family. This is Angela Hudson. We lived across the lawn from you for about a year in AF. I was the Personal Progress leader in young womens and worked with MayLynn and KaraLee. Stuart was our faithful hometeacher. We loved your family so much and have not stopped praying for you since we heard about your terrible accident. We're so glad to hear that you are recovering and progressing every day. We know that the Lord is very mindful of you and he loves you. You will always be in our prayers as you work through this time in your lives. We love you!!!
ReplyDeleteDear Lewis',
ReplyDeleteWe lived in Orem with you when Stuart was going to the Y- MayLynn and KaraLee used to come over and play quite often- your mom watched my girls often too! Your dad was our home teacher and we had a great love for him. When we moved from the neighborhood, your dad was the only member of the ward who showed up to help me pack up to move. His wonderful example of happiness and service will forever live in my life. I love your family and have thought about you MANY times in the past 12 years since we lived by you. Tell Trudy we love her and you are all in our thoughts and prayers!

Hi Trudy and Family
ReplyDeleteYou dont really know me although we met briefly at a Lyric picnic in Logan - Stuart did dutch oven! I'm on the faculty at USU and Stuart designed for several produtions I directed. I remember his really cool set for Cabaret and his gorgeous costumes for Taming of the Shrew. Our paths would cross when he would visit campus.
SUCH a lovely man, talented and so warm - I loved working with him. My heart goes out to you all.
Love

Dear Maylynn,
ReplyDeleteI go to school with James and I was so worried about him until I saw this blog. I still worry about him but it is easier. I think I speak for everyone when I say thank you for doing it. I am so sorry about what happened to your sister and your dad. If you have a cahnce (or even remember) can you tell James that everyone misses him and that we hope he gets better!!!!! We-I-would really apreciate it.
